Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-09-03

This Privacy Policy explains how the Palmeen mobile application, website and related services (together, “Palmeen”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collect, use, disclose, protect and retain information, and the choices available to you.

1. Who we are and contact

Palmeen is responsible for the processing described here. Send privacy or data requests to support@palmeen.com or through https://palmeen.com/support/. Never send passwords, verification codes or full payment-card details.

2. Information you provide

We process information you choose to provide: name, email and password credential; birth date, time, place and timezone; saved-person profiles; questions, reading preferences, journal entries, dreams, notes and saved results; photographs submitted for palm, coffee-cup or face readings; notification and language choices; and support messages. Passwords are stored using one-way hashing, not as readable text.

3. Information collected during use

We may collect account and session identifiers, including a random installation identifier for guest access, a one-way network-address hash, device and operating-system information, app version, language and timezone, request times, feature interactions, security events, diagnostic logs, notification tokens and consent choices. Guest identifiers, limited guest coin activity and temporary guest readings are used to remember the guest session, enforce reward limits and transfer eligible guest coins and readings if an account is created. A guest can clear the visible guest session, balance and temporary readings from the Profile tab; limited pseudonymous reward and security records may remain to enforce limits and prevent abuse. We use this information to operate the service, remember settings, prevent abuse, diagnose failures and protect accounts. Palmeen does not require background location access; a selected birth place is profile data, not continuous device location.

4. Readings, photos and automated processing

Some symbolic readings and virtual-reader conversations are generated or assisted by automated systems, including artificial-intelligence providers. To perform a requested feature, your question, selected context and, where necessary, an uploaded photo may be securely transmitted to a configured provider such as OpenAI or Google Gemini. These systems provide reflective content and do not make decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. Do not upload another person’s image or private information without permission.

5. Purchases, coins and rewarded ads

Google Play processes Android payments. We receive product ID, order or purchase token, transaction state and entitlement status, but not your full card number. If you choose a rewarded ad, Google Mobile Ads may process advertising identifiers, IP address, device information, diagnostics, consent state and ad interactions under Google’s terms. Consent controls are shown where required. Verification events are recorded to prevent duplicate or fraudulent rewards.

6. Purposes and legal bases

We use information to create and secure accounts; provide, personalize and save requested features; calculate astrology and numerology results; deliver readings and reminders; process purchases and rewards; answer support; prevent fraud; improve reliability; comply with law; and establish or defend claims. Depending on location, our basis is contract performance, consent, legal obligation or legitimate interests in securely operating Palmeen. Consent may be withdrawn where it is the applicable basis.

7. Sharing and service providers

We do not sell personal information. We disclose only what is reasonably necessary to providers supporting hosting, databases, automated content, Google Play Billing, Google Mobile Ads, email delivery including Brevo and Resend, security and technical support. We may disclose information when legally required, to protect users or Palmeen, or during a protected merger or service transfer. Providers may process data for contracted services and their legally required security and compliance duties.

8. International processing

Palmeen and its providers may process information outside your country, where privacy laws may differ. Where required, we use contractual or other lawful transfer safeguards. A feature relying on a global provider may process information where that provider operates.

9. Retention and account deletion

Account information and saved content are generally kept while your account is active and as needed for the service. Temporary files, diagnostics and security logs are retained only for operational, security and abuse-prevention needs. Account deletion removes or irreversibly anonymizes associated profile data, saved content and uploaded media within a reasonable technical completion period. Limited purchase, fraud, security, backup or legal records may remain only as legally or operationally required, then be deleted or anonymized.

10. Your choices and rights

You can update profile information, control notifications and delete your account in the app. An external deletion route is available at https://palmeen.com/delete-account/. Depending on location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability or consent withdrawal, and may complain to a data-protection authority. Write from your registered email to support@palmeen.com; limited ownership verification may be required.

11. Security and children

We use reasonable safeguards including encrypted transport, access controls, password hashing, signed sessions and transaction verification, but no internet service guarantees absolute security. Protect your credentials and report suspected access. Palmeen is intended for adults aged 18 or older and is not directed to children. Contact us if you believe a child supplied information so we can investigate and delete it where required.

12. Policy changes

We may update this policy when features, providers or legal requirements change. We will update its date and version and provide appropriate notice for material changes. We will request consent again where required by law.
